Sadio Mane was voted by Bundesliga players as the biggest disappointment of the season, with the former Liverpool star struggling in his first year at Bayern Munich.
As per Sky Germany, the Senegal international received a whopping 41.7% of the vote in an official Bundesliga survey conducted by players in the league, with second-place Joshua Kimmich only receiving 7.5% of votes from his divisional colleagues.
Mane joined Bayern last summer in a deal believed to be worth £34m. Yet despite the fanfare, the former Liverpool man had a year to forget in the Bundesliga, with the winger infamously getting into a physical altercation with Leroy Sane that almost saw the attacker fired by the club.

As per Sky Germany, Mane’s time in the Bundesliga has been ‘disappointing’, to say the least. And with rumours now suggesting that a return to the Premier League could be on the cards this summer, Liverpool’s decision to sell the winger is looking more justified by the day.
Indeed, whilst nobody could have predicted Mane to fall off so badly in Germany with Bayern, there’s every chance that the attacker can redeem himself if given the chance by Thomas Tuchel next season, something that attacker will likely what to grasp with both hands.
Mane can become a superstar in the Bundesliga if he pushes himself

Mane knows that his first year in Germany has been a car crash, yet the forward has proven over the years that he can overcome obstacles and prove critics wrong when given the chance. And this is exactly what the attacker has to do next season if he is still at Bayern.
As we know, Mane is still one of the best attackers in the world and a forward that every top club in the world would love to have on their books. And if given the chance to shine for Bayern, the winger can easily make the Bundesliga his playground should he find his rhythm and form.
