Liverpool could reportedly join the race to sign Tyler Adams, who has told Leeds United he wants to leave the club this summer for a return to the Premier League.
According to TeamTalk, the USA international has alerted the Whites on his decision to exit Elland Road after Leeds’ relegation to the Championship, with Liverpool expected to join the likes of Manchester United and Newcastle United for the midfielder.
Adams was one of Leeds’ best players last season despite their relegation from the Premier League, with the report stating that the Yorkshire side expect to demand as much as £40m for the American dynamo, and Liverpool could soon join the race for the midfielder.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have made central midfielders their main priority for the summer window, and based on Adams’ profile, the former RB Leipzig man could be ideal for Liverpool, especially with the 24-year-old able to play at right-back.
Indeed, Adams’ eagerness to return to the Premier League could see the midfielder make a big push from Leeds to let him go for a cheaper fee. And for Liverpool, landing the American for below £40m could represent some great value in the transfer market.
Adams could be a perfect signing for Liverpool at the right price

Adams showed enough in his one season with Leeds that he built for the Premier League, and with Liverpool in the race, the midfielder could be an ideal option for the Reds if the Elland Road side are willing to decrease their £40m asking price.
With Liverpool only having so much to spend this summer, shaving off as much as possible on any deal will go a long way in Klopp getting the signings he wants through the door, with Adams an ideal recruitment given his age and quality.
