Luke Chambers will reportedly be handed a chance to play for Liverpool’s senior team in pre-season, with the teenager impressing the Anfield side out on loan.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the 18-year-old fullback caught the eye of Liverpool officials last campaign whilst out on loan in Scotland with Kilmarnock, and Chambers will now be given an opportunity to make a name for himself in Jurgen Klopp’s first-team.
An England youth international, Chambers made 16 appearances in all competitions for Kilmarnock last season. And whilst there is an expectation that the left-back will again go out on loan this summer, the defender being handed the call up to play for Liverpool’s senior team is quite the accolade.

With the Daily Record even reporting that Watford are interested in Chambers, this summer could be the perfect chance for the defender to increase his value and to catch the eye of potential suitors, with a loan spell in England likely the next logical step for the youngster.
Indeed, Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas are Liverpool’s perfect left-back options. And whilst Chambers could feature for the Reds in the UEFA Europa League, a loan spell would be for the best next season, and performances this summer could help raise the defender’s profile.
Chambers should be handed Liverpool chance this summer by Klopp

Pre-season is already being billed by some Liverpool fans as the biggest in some years, and for the likes of Chambers, being handed a chance to play some minutes under Klopp could be huge in their development at the club.
Fixtures in the summer against top sides could be what helps Chambers find the perfect loan move ahead of the new season, and with the defender already in the picture to feature for Liverpool in the coming weeks, the defender will want to impress his teammates as well as Klopp.
