Fabrizio Romano has teased that Liverpool are working on making at least three more signings this summer having recently announced the capture of Alexis Mac Allister.
Taking to Twitter, the Italian sports journalist posted that the Reds are looking to bring in two more central midfielders as well as a left-footed central defender, with talks taking place already into filling these voids in Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
Liverpool are set for their biggest summer yet under the German manager’s reign, with midfield the main area of focus and the position that the majority of supporters will agree is in need of serious work this window. And this update is encouraging, to say the least.
With pre-season a month away, Liverpool will do well to get the bulk of their summer work done by the time the squad are reunited in July. And new signings done in the coming weeks could give Klopp the platform needed to rebuild the team for good.
More signings is exactly what Liverpool need before pre-season starts

Mac Allister is an excellent starting point for Liverpool in their summer business, yet more simply has to be done between now and next month, with more signings expected as Klopp looks to guide his team back to a Premier League title for next season.
Moreover, the Reds are targeting positions that are in need of improvements, namely midfield. And with talks now ongoing behind the scenes, there could be some more signings to announce soon if Klopp and his team can get everything right between now and the start of pre-season in July.
