Bayern Munich are ready to sell midfielder Ryan Gravenberch this summer, amid talk that Liverpool could make a bid for the Dutchman.

Gravenberch ended up being part of a title-winning team in Munich this year. However, there remains uncertainty over his future and Liverpool are known admirers of the midfielder.

And according to reports this weekend, Gravenberch could well be on his way out, pending a meeting with Thomas Tuchel.

Liverpool handed Ryan Gravenberch boost

According to a report from Soccernews.nl, Gravenberch’s days with Munich are looking increasingly numbered.

It’s suggested that Gravenberch is looking for some reassurances from Tuchel over his role in the team next season.

If those assurances aren’t granted, then the report claims that a move away is ‘almost inevitable’ for the Dutch star.

Lauded by Fabrizio Romano as a ‘perfect‘ signing for Liverpool, Gravenberch actually only cost Bayern around £16m when he signed last summer.

Liverpool’s interest in bringing in new midfielders is well known. Alexis Mac Allister is set to join in the coming days while a number of other names have also been mentioned.

One man who won’t be signing, though, is Manuel Ugarte. The Uruguayan is set to sign for Chelsea instead.

RTK’s View: One to watch

There’s a reason the Reds are watching Ryan Gravenberch and this situation suggests we should keep an eye on things.

Clearly, there is a talented player there in Gravenberch. You don’t play for Ajax and then get a move to Germany’s biggest club without being a top player.

The Reds, then, will need to see how this pans out. And if the talks with Tuchel don’t quite go to plan, then Klopp could well instruct FSG to make their move.

Gravenberch would slot in nicely for us in the middle. And of all the names linked, he might not be the most expensive either.
