Bayern Munich are reportedly open to selling Benjamin Pavard this summer for as little as €30m (£25m), with Liverpool one of the clubs interested in the defender.
According to 90min, the Bundesliga giants are ready to offload the French international, with numerous big clubs from around Europe all lining up to lure Pavard from Bavaria, with Liverpool one of the teams listed as interested in the centre-back.
A FIFA World Cup winner with France, Pavard is known for his versatility and ability to play both in the heart of the defence as well as at right-back, and these traits could make the 27-year-old an alluring option for Liverpool this summer, especially at the cost of just £25m.

Trent Alexander-Arnold’s evolution into midfield means that a defender who can flourish out on the right could be a useful signing for Liverpool. And when it comes to a scouting mission as niche as this, Pavard is the obvious standout candidate.
Whilst competition is strong for Pavard and the defender himself could prefer a move to a UEFA Champions League side, Liverpool’s stature and worldwide reputation could make the Reds a dark horse for the Frenchman’s signature, especially if Bayern’s asking price remains as low as £25m.
Liverpool should take a gamble on Pavard this summer

Liverpool’s unique situation with Alexander-Arnold means that a versatile defender with an emphasis on playing as a right-back could be a huge benefit for the squad, and Pavard fits the bill to the tee, making the Bayern star an optimal risk for the window.
Pavard is approaching the peak years of his life, and with international teammate Ibrahima Konate and former Bayern midfielder Thiago Alcantara already at Liverpool, the defender might have no troubles getting used to his new surroundings.
