Burnley are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool talent Fabio Carvalho this summer, with the youngster expected to leave Anfield.
According to the Daily Mail, the Reds have already rejected a permanent transfer offer for the Portuguese youth international this summer as Premier League clubs line up to sign Carvalho on loan, with Vincent Kompany’s Burnley one of the sides interested.
The Belgian manager and former Manchester City captain led the Clarets back to the Premier League in his first attempt as Burnley stunned supporters and pundits with their incredible style of play and new club philosophy. And Kompany and his football could be an appealing option for Carvalho.

The 20-year-old has hardly played for Liverpool this season having signed from Fulham last summer in what many expected to be another shrewd piece of business from the Merseyside giants. However, Carvalho spent the majority of the campaign sat on the bench.
As a result, Carvalho could be on the move this summer. And with Kompany’s Burnley now interested in the winger, the Liverpool talent could be tempted to make the move to Turf Moor where the forward could become a regular in the next Premier League season.
Liverpool should only allow Carvalho to join Burnley on loan this summer

Lauded as ‘special’ by Harvey Elliott, Carvalho is in desperate need of a loan spell this summer having endured a rough first year with Liverpool. And with Burnely now in the race, the Clarets and Kompany’s coaching could be a perfect fit for the 20-year-old.
However, Liverpool must be aware that a loan deal is the only way they can go about this transfer, with Carvalho simply too good and too exciting a prospect to be allowed to leave this summer for good, even if the player himself is now growing open to the idea.
