Liverpool to target ‘special’ 21-year-old after signing Alexis Mac Allister

Liverpool are reportedly targeting a move for Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch once they have completed the signing of Alexis Mac Allister.

According to the Daily Mail, the Reds will turn their attention to the 21-year-old Netherlands international after their pursuit for the Brighton & Hove Albion star has concluded, with the general feeling around Bayern this summer being that Gravenberch will be allowed to leave.

The midfielder joined the Bundesliga champions from Ajax last summer, yet despite his incredible reputation and being lauded by the likes of Goal as a ‘special’ talent, Gravenberch has failed to make any sort of impact at Bayer, with a summer move now firmly on the table.

With Mac Allister on the verge of a move to Liverpool, the Reds quickly moving on to the next assignment is exactly what supporters wanted to see this summer, with Gravenberch a talent who could add a lot of value to the Reds’ midfield in the years to come.

Indeed, the Dutchman is one of the youngest players Liverpool have targeted this summer, and with Bayern open to a sale, Gravenberch could quickly become Jurgen Klopp’s second signing of the window, with a transfer one that many fans will be in favour of.
