Jurgen Klopp has teased that Liverpool are in for a busy summer having ended their 2022/23 season this weekend with a frantic 4-4 draw against Southampton.

Speaking to Sky Sports News, the Anfield manager revealed that he is energised about managing the Reds having enjoyed an incredible end to the season that saw Liverpool almost push for a UEFA Champions League spot, with Liverpool set for a huge summer.

Klopp is expected to bring in numerous central midfielders to overhaul Liverpool’s options as well as fix up the defensive depth that is in need of some quality additions, with the Merseyside giants already being tipped as one of the favourites for next season’s Premier League title.

Whilst Liverpool will have to settle for UEFA Europa League football next season, Klopp seems to be very excited about what the Reds have planned this summer, and the German manager already looks keen on what could happen in the weeks to come.

Klopp said on Liverpool’s summer plans: “These last few weeks have given me a lot of energy. I’m not ready for a holiday and I don’t need it. Of course, I will be busy on the phone this summer, but that will be fine and I’m happy to do that, and we will see.”
