Liverpool sent official to Bayern Munich on Saturday to watch 22-y/o 'genius'

Liverpool reportedly had a club representative in attendance to watch Dominik Szoboszlai, who starred for RB Leipzig over the weekend in a 3-1 win against Bayern Munich.

As per the report, Arsenal and Newcastle United are also interested in Szoboszlai, who has been branded as a ‘creative genius’ by Arab News. And Liverpool now appear to be firmly in the transfer race to sign the Leipzig superstar.

Lauded for his playmaking traits and his ability to play in numerous positions in both the attack and the midfield, Szoboszlai has all the tools to flourish in the Premier League. And Liverpool have seemingly been impressed with what they have seen from the youngster.

Indeed, although Liverpool aren’t exactly in the market for an out-and-out attacker, Szoboszlai’s skillset is vastly different to anything the Reds’ current attacker possess, and the Hungarian could be an ideal addition for the Anfield side if they’re looking to expand on their forward ranks.
