Alexis Mac Allister tells Brighton when he wants to sign for Liverpool

Alexis Mac Allister is reportedly keen to wrap up his move to Liverpool as quickly as possible, with Brighton & Hove Albion also in the same boat.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the Argentine international wants his future this summer completed at the first opportunity, with TyC Sports reporting on Saturday that Liverpool have completed a £70m agreement for Mac Allister.

The 24-year-old is on course to become Liverpool’s first signing of the summer after a year to remember for club and country, and Mac Allister himself now seems keen to make the move to Anfield, with a deal now potentially being announced before last weekend’s final Premier League fixture.

Indeed, Liverpool have worked well to secure an agreement with Mac Allister as early as they have, and for Jacobs, the player himself is keen to sign on the dotted line as quickly as the Reds have anticipated, with the midfielder an excellent addition.

Jacobs said on Mac Allister’s eagerness to join Liverpool: “From Mac Allister’s point of view, if he can have his future wrapped up early, then he won’t be intertwined in any drawn-out negotiations from Brighton’s point of view to make sure that potentially a player comes in or they ultimately just don’t lose too many players.
