Andy Robertson has noted that Alisson Becker has looked happier in recent weeks with Liverpool currently enjoying a seven-game winning run and keeping three clean sheets on the trot.
Speaking to the club’s official website, the Scotland international revealed that the 30-year-old goalkeeper has been brighter behind the scenes having kept a shutout in Liverpool’s last three games, rocketing Jurgen Klopp’s side into the battle for top-four.
Liverpool have hit form at the right time this campaign, with a change in defensive structure playing a key role in the Reds enjoying an incredible run of results in the Premier League, and Alisson’s performances have again improved as a result.
With the Anfield giants feeling on top of the world with their recent displays, Robertson has noted that Alisson has looked happier with the Brazilian keeping three clean sheets-in-a-row for Liverpool, with the Scotsman enjoying the change in attitude.
Roberton said on Alisson’s change in mood in recent weeks: “Wins are the most important but when you follow that up with clean sheets as well. Ali (Alisson) has certainly been a lot happier the last couple of weeks walking about here! And so [are] we all.”

Klopp changing Liverpool’s system so late in the season was always going to be a risky move, the winning record speaks for itself, and Robertson and Alisson have both accustomed greatly to their new roles, with the duo thriving in the starting XI.
With the Scottish defender now playing a more conservative role as Alisson is now tasked with playing balls more centrally, the pair have done well to work themselves into Klopp’s new invention, and the duo could be key in Liverpool’s push for top-four in the coming weeks.
