Roy Keane has urged Arsenal to move for Moises Caicedo despite the Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder also being wanted by Liverpool.
Speaking on Sky Sports, the pundit made the case that the 21-year-old Ecuador international would be a good investment for Mikel Arteta’s side as Arsenal look to beat the likes of Liverpool to Caicedo’s signature, with the north London side coming close in January.
Goal recently reported that Caicedo is on Liverpool’s radar as the South American wonderkid looks set for a major move this summer, yet Keane believes that the Brighton star should make the move to Arsenal, who are ready to spend big on the midfielder.

Keane said when asked about why Caicedo should join Arsenal in the summer: “You can see why they would be interested in him. He’s a strong and powerful boy. He’s at a good age, at 21. He has adapted to the Premier League very well, there is no surprise they are interested.
“Of course, they tried to get him in January. Signed a new deal, but I am sure he has got plenty of clauses. If Arsenal are keen on him, then they would have to pay big money for him, ideally, at the age he is at, he is a good investment for Arsenal.”
Liverpool will face some challenge in beating Arsenal to Caicedo

Caicedo and Arsenal is looking like an early favourite to be one of the most dominant transfer stories of the summer, with the Gunners seemingly ready to put up a club-record fee to bring the Brighton man to the Emirates, and for Liverpool, they could struggle to compete with Arteta.
Should Liverpool miss out on top-four, the Reds’ budget for new signings will be severely limited, and Caicedo could be well out of reach for a club that are looking to bring in as many as three new central midfielders, something Arsenal could also be planning to do.
