Juventus have reportedly made Teun Koopmeiners their top target for the summer transfer window, though Liverpool have already made an approach for the midfielder.
According to CalcioMercato, the Turin-based side have identified the Atalanta star as their prime option for a new midfielder this summer, with Juventus keen to sign Koopmeiners as a replacement for Adrien Rabiot and Leandro Paredes, who are both due to leave at the end of the season.
As per the report, though, the Old Lady are already wary of interest from Liverpool in Koopmeiners, and Corriere dello Sport have already claimed that the Reds have made an approach to sign the £34m-rated player to solve their own midfield issues.

With Koopmeiners one of the best midfielders in Serie A, it’s no wonder why two top clubs in Liverpool and now Juventus are chasing the Dutch international, yet this latest update from Italy could be a major concern for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Indeed, Juventus have the pulling power to attract any player they want in Italy, and whilst the Bianconri are no longer the giants in Serie A they once were, Koopmeiners could still be tempted to sign for Massimiliano Allegri’s side this summer over Liverpool.
Koopmeiners signing for Juventus could soon become a possibility

Juventus’ summer could be one of the most interesting in all of Europe given how much work the Italian giants need doing, and Koopmeiners could be tempted to snub Liverpool for a move to Turin if a good enough offer is made for the Atalanta star.
Things are changing in Italy in terms of the power dynamics of Serie A, and with Juventus far from being their former selves, signing a player like Koopmeiners could be needed tot ake them back to the top, with the Dutchman seemingly a realistic option despite interest and moves from Liverpool.
