Football insiders now reportedly believe that Liverpool could make a bid to sign Moises Caicedo, with Brighton & Hove Albion expecting plenty of interest.
According to the Telegraph, the 21-year-old ‘destroyer’ is being lined up as one of the most sought-after players in the Premier League transfer market this summer, with Liverpool in the race to sign the Ecuador international alongside Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.
As per the report, the Gunners are the current favourites to sign Caicedo, with the midfielder starring against Arsenal this weekend in a 3-0 demolition job from Brighton on the ex-Premier League leaders, and Liverpool’s interest could spike as a result.

The Reds are eager to sign numerous midfielders this summer with Alexis Mac Allister seemingly on the verge of signing for Liverpool if recent reports are to be believed. And adding Caicedo to the mix could be an outstanding piece of business.
Indeed, the South American is one of the youngest midfielders in the Premier League currently playing regularly in the division, and whilst Caicedo could be courted by a UEFA Champions League side, Liverpool’s new project could convince the youngster to make the switch to Anfield.
Liverpool signing Caicedo could be their best deal this summer

Caicedo has taken his game to new heights this season in what has been a year to remember for Brighton, with the midfielder now one of the best in his age group and a player many top clubs in Europe would dream to have on their books, and Liverpool signing the 21-year-old could be their deal of the summer.
The youngster has all the attributes needed to thrive on Merseyside, and if Liverpool can bring in Mac Allister, Caicedo will already have a teammate to familiarise himself with at Anfield, with the pair perfect for Klopp and his plans for next season.
