Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing PSG wonderkid El Chadaille Bitshiabu, with Manchester United also in the race for the 17-year-old talent.
According to Le10 Sport, the Reds are chasing the teenage centre-back, with interest building quickly for the defender after establishing himself as one of PSG’s most exciting talents this season as Liverpool now look to make a move for Bitshiabu.
Lauded by Football Talent Scout as one of the most exciting defensive prospects in all of Europe and a ‘physical phenomenon’, the 6’4″ Bitshiabu made history in 2021 by becoming PSG’s youngest-ever player, a record that was broken this season by Warren Zaire-Emery.

Indeed, whilst there are seemingly plans at PSG to use Bitshiabu more prominently next season, interest from Liverpool could be tempting for the teenager, with Jurgen Klopp’s side keen to add to their centre-back ranks this summer.
However, interest from United and other teams around Europe could be a cause of concern for Liverpool, even with the Reds having as good a development record as they do with the likes of Harvey Elliott and Ibrahima Konate, with Bitshiabu a talent who could be too good to pass up on.
Liverpool have to do all they can to sign Bitshiabu this summer

Bitshiabu’s potential speaks for itself, with the teenager one of the most exciting talents in all of Europe and a centre-back who could become one of the best in the game if his development continues on the path it already finds itself on, and Liverpool simply have to sign the defender.
At 17, the Reds will struggle to find a centre-back as exciting as Bitshiabu, and with Liverpool already in the market for a young defender, the PSG wonderkid ticks a lot of boxes that Klopp will be looking at this summer, though the Anfield side will have to move quickly.
