Jurgen Klopp has named Alisson Becker as Liverpool’s most consistent player this season, with the Brazilian international claiming his first clean sheet in six games last night.
Speaking to the press via Beanyman Sports, the Anfield no. 1 was lavished with praise by Klopp after keeping Fulham out in a 1-0 win for Liverpool, with Alisson seen crying at full-time after being overwhelmed with emotion for keeping a clean sheet.
The 30-year-old has been one of Liverpool’s most consistent performers this season, with Mohamed Salah arguably the only player this campaign who has matched Alisson’s level of performance throughout the entire year, yet Klopp believes the former AS Roma man has been the pick of the bunch.

Indeed, Alisson’s performances have saved Liverpool numerous points this season, and whilst there have been some poor games, it is hard to argue that the Brazilian superstar has been nothing short of a consistent performer for the Reds this campaign.
Klopp said on Alisson’s performances this season: “He is for sure the most consistent player we have had this season. That’s actually not bad news, because if we are not in a great shape and the level of the goalie drops as well then we would have been completely lost.”
Alisson deserves praise from Klopp after sensational Fulham performance

Alisson’s emotional breakdown at the end of the match last night at Anfield was a moment to take in, with the Brazilian aware of what the clean sheet will do for his confidence and the morale of the team in the coming matches, and Klopp’s praise is more than warranted.
The South American has been one of the best keepers in the Premier League once again this season, and with Alisson finally breaking his recent run of not keeping a shutout, the Liverpool star can feel proud that he is slowly returning to his best despite an impressive season already.
