Fulham manager Marco Silva has highlighted how good Liverpool’s options from the bench are following the Reds’ recent run of form in the Premier League.
Speaking to the press via Fulham’s official website, the Portuguese manager noted that Jurgen Klopp is blessed with incredible substitute options, with Luis Diaz’s return from injury and Diogo Jota finding his goalscoring boots leading to an incredible amount of attacking talent from the bench.
The latter was the match-winner on Sunday as Jota scored a last-second goal to secure a 4-3 win for Liverpool against Tottenham, with Darwin Nunez and Jordan Henderson also featuring in the clash at Anfield from the substitutes’ bench.

With Fulham travelling to Anfield tomorrow night, Silva is well aware of the challenge facing him and the Cottagers, and the former Everton manager has tipped Liverpool’s substitutes to play a key role in the fixture, with the west London side looking for their latest Premier League upset.
Silva said on Liverpool’s substitutes:” “They are in a good moment in the last few games. They have been achieving good results and scoring goals, with all the players in the attack in better form right now. They can change many players in the attack and even so, they keep the quality.
“Yesterday is a good example again, when they had the chance to rest Diogo Jota and start [Luis] Diaz coming back from the long-term injury. And with Darwin [Nunez] as well on the bench and [Cody] Gakpo and [Mohamed] Salah, they have a lot of solutions in the attack and they have four wins in a row.”
Marco Silva’s Fulham could lose purely down to Liverpool’s attacking depth

With every attacker now fit barring the departing Roberto Firmino, it’s no wonder why Silva is seemingly fearful for what to expect from Liverpool on Wednesday night, with Fulham up against a Merseyside club that have now found their stride after an underwhelming season.
Diaz’s return from injury has been massive for Liverpool despite starting just once since his comeback, and with Jota and Mohamed Salah again in fine form, Fulham could have a night to forget in Anfield if the Reds are looking to make another statement win.
