Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has claimed defender Ibrahima Konate is a doubt to face West Ham United tomorrow night.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of the Reds’s trip to the London Stadium, the German was asked whether there will be any absences from his matchday squad.
“We have to see,” said Klopp.

“We use the full time until tomorrow – well, we leave today so the decision we have to make today.
“Ibou, we need to see how it is with him, but in the moment, I am rather positive, but that doesn’t mean a lot.
“From possible starters I think that’s it.”
Konate is a doubt to face West Ham
Aside from Virgil van Dijk, Konate is the best central defender Liverpool have had in years.
At just 23-years-old, the Frenchman has already established himself as one of the most promising centre-backs in European football.
The Reds look far more comfortable with the youngster at the back, so he is sure to be at the heart of the team’s defence for years to come.

However, Konate has certainly had his fair share of injury issues this term.
This is a worrying sign for the club, as they are very reliant on the France international.
As a result, Liverpool may need to bring in an extra defender this summer, as alternative back-up option for their £36m starlet.
