Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was captured interacting with Nottingham Forest full-back Neco Williams in the tunnel after the 3-2 win on Saturday.
Shared on an ‘Inside Anfield’ episode on the Reds’s official YouTube channel, the German was spotted embracing the 22-year-old, whom he sold to the Tricky Trees last summer in a deal worth £17m.

The 22-year-old claimed Forest’s first goal of the game, after a large deflection off Andy Robertson sent the ball past Alisson Becker.
Klopp joked with Williams; “It was deflected!” he said, to which the defender replied, “It was on target though so it’s my goal!”.
What Klopp said to Williams
This video just goes to show the sort of rapport Klopp has with his players – even those who are no longer with the club.
Williams may have experienced mixed emotions upon his Anfield return, having left the Reds last summer – the team he joined at just six years old.
However, everyone’s spirits seemed to be high as the manager interacted with the Welshman, who obviously very comfortable around the German.

These relationships are what Liverpool have encompassed during the Klopp era; those of which have contributed to the club’s success over the past few years.
Behind the scenes, Anfield certainly seems like a special place to be.
