Liverpool are continuing to monitor Bristol City starlet Alex Scott, who has just been crowned the winner of a prestigious award.
According to the Liverpool Echo, the Reds are keeping an eye on the midfielder, having previously been credited with interest in the player alongside the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham United.
The Merseyside outfit’s interest could well develop with the 19-year-old’s latest news, having won the Championship’s Young Player of the Season award.

Scott beat Middlesbrough’s Hayden Hackney and Sunderland’s Amad Diallo to the trophy, having excelled in the middle of the park for the Robins this term.
The Guernsey native joins Jude Bellingham and Gareth Bale in the award’s list of previous winners, with the Borussia Dortmund superstar having picked up the accolade in 2019/20.
Liverpool continue to monitor Scott
Having excelled in the Championship this season, Scott would certainly be a brilliant addition to Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
However, from the player’s perspective, a move to Merseyside may not be the best choice for his footballing career.
Looking at Fabio Carvalho, for example, the youngster arrived at Anfield with incredible potential.
He tore up the Championship with Fulham, and the Reds were fortunate enough to land the highly coveted attacker.

However, the 20-year-old has barely played for Liverpool in 2023 – often failing to make the bench.
This could end up happening to Scott if he chooses to make the move.
Although there are more spaces up for grabs in midfield, this is still a big risk to take.
