Liverpool could reportedly sign as many as five players this summer as Jurgen Klopp aims to rebuild his squad, with Alexis Mac Allister a target.
According to journalist Dean Jones, the Anfield side have big plans for the upcoming transfer window and could make as many as five signings in the market, with central midfield already being earmarked as the main position that Liverpool will look to make signings.
As per the report, Brighton & Hove Albion star Mac Allister is just one name Liverpool are looking at, with the 24-year-old Argentine enjoying a breakout year in the Premier League and on the international stage having won the 2022 FIFA World Cup last year.

With many clubs interested in Mac Allister, though, Liverpool face a big challenge in trying to recruit the South American star, particularly if the Reds fail to qualify for the UEFA Champions League, a prospect that is ever-growing with each new match week.
Indeed, Mac Allister is just one part of a huge plan Liverpool have to restore their squad back to its former glory, and as long as the Reds are in the race, there’s always a chance that the Merseyside giants can land the 24-year-old Brighton star, who could be open to a move.
Liverpool landing Mac Allister would be one of the deals of the summer

Mac Allister has proven his quality this season with one of the best years any player can wish for, and this summer could see the midfielder earn his big-money move having become a bonafide superstar with Brighton, and one that Liverpool could add to their arsenal.
The midfielder has many attributes that Liverpool are currently missing from their squad, and with Mac Allister seemingly drawn to a big move away from the Amex Stadium, the Reds have to ensure that they beat out rival clubs to the 24-year-old’s signature.
