Liverpool are reportedly interested in Birmingham City talent George Hall, with the Reds now one of numerous Premier League clubs interested in signing the teenager, including Everton.
According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool are keeping tabs on the Championship wonderkid amid a breakout season for Hall, with the 18-year-old midfielder becoming a regular for Birmingham this campaign and being hailed as ‘awesome’ by manager John Eustace.
A regular for England at youth level, Hall is tipped to go straight to the top having established himself as an outstanding talent in the EFL, and for Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp’s side now find themselves in the race to sign the midfielder, alongside Leeds United and Merseyside rivals Everton.
With clubs from Germany and Italy also interested in Hall, this summer could devolve into a mad scramble to sign the Birmingham star, though Liverpool could be one of the early favourites to land the teenager based on their stature and their stance on youth players.
Under Jurgen Klopp, the likes of Harvey Elliott and Fabio Carvalho have both become regulars with Liverpool this season, and there’s a good chance that Hall could follow a similar path if the midfielder opts to move to Anfield in the summer transfer window.
Indeed, Hall is a talent who has the world at his feet, and with Liverpool now interested in signing the youngster, the Reds could soon make a pitch to bring in the teenager whilst time is on their hands, with the midfielder an ideal addition for the club in the long-term.

Like every Premier League club in 2020, Liverpool were one of the clubs chasing one Jude Bellingham after a record-breaking season with Birmingham, and with the Reds missing out on the now-England international to Borussia Dortmund, a remedy could be made this summer in the form of Hall.
Whilst the two midfielders have different profiles, many Liverpool fans would agree that getting ahead of the curve is crucial for the club if they’re to thrive in the long-term, and signing Hall would do just that, with the teenager proving this season that he is ready for the step up to the Premier League.
