Liverpool are set to battle Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka.
That’s according to The Mirror, who claim the Reds have joined the fight to land the soon-to-be free agent in the summer.
Having rejected a final contract offer from the Bundesliga outfit, the 23-year-old will be available on a free transfer in a couple of months time.

As a result, Jurgen Klopp’s side have been alerted to the centre-back’s situation, as they have been tracking him since he was a teenager.
Arsenal and Tottenham have also been touted with interest, as have Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.
Perfect signing for Liverpool
Standing at 6ft 3in tall, Ndicka would be a great presence to add to Klopp’s back-line.
Playing as a left-sided defender, with the ability to operate as a left-back or holding midfielder when needed, the Frenchman would be a hugely useful asset at Anfield.
Available on a free transfer, this would allow Liverpool to focus their spending elsewhere – paying extra attention to the midfield.

The only issue is, Ndicka will want regular first-team football. With Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate the preferred pairing, this may become an issue.
The Frankfurt star actually knows Konate rather well, having played alongside him for France U20’s and U21’s.
With all of this said, Ndicka would be the perfect signing for Liverpool, as his arrival would allow more money to be spent on midfield additions – potentially alluding to the signing of Borussia Dortmund superstar Jude Bellingham.
