Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot could now be set to stay at the Serie A club, despite being linked with a move to Liverpool.
That’s according to Gazzetta dello Sport, who claim the Italian side’s stance on the 27-year-old has now changed.
With the Frenchman’s deal set to expire at the end of the season, the Reds have reportedly asked to be kept informed about his situation.

After a breakthrough in negotiations, Gazzetta dello Sport report that Juventus are willing to offer Rabiot a new contract worth £8.8m with bonuses.
It is said that both players and senior officials at the club think it’s necessary to do everything possible to try and keep him beyond the summer.
Therefore, it’s more likely now that the France international remains with the Turin outfit, than he is to join an interested team, like Liverpool.
Rabiot likely to stay at Juventus
With Liverpool’s need to rebuild their midfield this summer, Rabiot could be a brilliant addition for Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
The 27-year-old has enjoyed a strong season thus far, having bagged nine goals and four assists in 33 appearances.
As per WhoScored statistics, the Frenchman currently ranks as Juventus’ best player in the Serie A this term, having averaged an impressive 7.20 match rating.

Hailed as a ‘fantastic’ player by Italian legend Gianluigi Buffon, Rabiot certainly has the quality needed to succeed in the Premier League.
Therefore, news he may remain in Turin will come as a big blow to Liverpool – who may have thought they had a shrewd signing on their hands.
