Liverpool attacker Roberto Firmino has been offered to Galatasaray, and he is keen on making the move.
That’s according to A Spor, who claim that ROGON, the Brazilian’s representatives, brought up his name during a meeting with the Turkish giants.
As the 31-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, he has ‘started to collect information’ about Galatasaray and is reportedly ‘looking forward’ to moving to the Super Lig side.
However, a move would depend on whether the club could afford his wages, as he is currently on £180,000-a-week at Anfield.
Firmino keen to join Galatasaray
With his game time significantly reduced by Jurgen Klopp this season, it was always a possibility that Firmino would move on this summer.
In 16 Premier League matches this term, the 31-year-old has bagged seven goals and three assists.
While this looks good on paper, there has definitely been a drop-off in his overall game on the pitch – which isn’t illustrated here.
On the ball, Firmino is much more careless than he used to be. He often misplaces passes which would previously have found their target.
Furthermore, he loses possession more than he used to, which has been damaging to Liverpool’s attacking displays.
Therefore, having arrived at the club nearly eight years ago, it now looks like it’s time on the his career at Anfield.
With the Galatasaray move an appealing option, he currently looks set to leave Liverpool this summer.
