Liverpool are prepared to let Nat Phillips leave the club permanently today, but only if they get an offer of around £10m.
The centre-back has barely featured this season, playing just five times in all competitions. And according to The Athletic, the Reds are now prepared to let him go.
A loan deal for Phillips also said to be a ‘possibility,’ with Galatasaray among the clubs reportedly interested.
Elsewhere The Athletic claim that’s it’s expected to be ‘quiet’ on Liverpool’s end today. No change there then!
Liverpool fail to address glaring issues
What a bust this transfer window looks like ending up as. If, as is expected, Liverpool keep their powder dry today, many fans will be on the verge of rioting.

Okay, maybe that’s a little extreme. But it’s quite clear to see that the Reds problems have failed to be addressed in the market.
That can often be forgiven in the January window. Prime targets either aren’t available or are only on the market for wildly extortionate prices. Normally, it’s wise for Liverpool to stay out of it.
But not this year. This year, they still haven’t addressed the issues that they wouldn’t look in the eye back in the summer. While everyone else sees a blatant hole in the Liverpool midfield, Jurgen Klopp and co don’t seem interested.
It has cost the Reds their season, and to fail to sort such glaring problems out once again is simply not good enough.
On Phillips, it would truly be a surprise to see him leave the club, too. He is touted around every deadline day but for whatever reason, a move never seems to materialise. It’s a shame for the 25-year-old, who Klopp has previously called ‘incredible.’ It’d be nice to see him finally get his move today.
