However, it is said that negotiations are yet to launch between the player’s representatives and any clubs.

Lindstrom has previously admitted he would love to play for the Reds at Anfield. Speaking to TV 2 program ‘Førstevælger’, he shared: “I’ve always said that I’m a Liverpool fan, so it could be really cool to play for Liverpool at some point.”

Having made the move from Denmark in the summer of 2021, Lindstrom has ben excelling for Frankfurt this season.

In 14 Bundesliga matches, the attacking midfielder has produced six goals and two assists. Furthermore, he has also started in all six Champions League fixtures for his club this term.

At just 22-years-old, the Denmark international’s potential is clear to see. Consequently, he has received huge praise from Frankfurt team-mate Kevin Trapp.

“Jesper is very young and came from a different league. The Bundesliga is a tougher league than the Danish league. You have to get used to it,” he said.

“Jesper has already made significant steps forward. You can see that he’s an outstanding footballer and has very good technique.”

As a massive Liverpool fan, this puts Jurgen Klopp’s side in a very good position.

If they did decide to make a move for the youngster, it wouldn’t be that hard to convince the player to make the switch to Anfield.
