Fabrizio Romano shares what his Liverpool sources have just told him about Jurgen Klopp's future

Liverpool will continue to back manager Jurgen Klopp, as they want to keep him at the club both currently and for the future.

That’s according to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano, speaking on his YouTube channel.

Taking to an update video, the reporter shared what sources from inside Anfield have told him about the Reds’ stance on the German boss, claiming they will always remain supporters of his.

“I’m getting many questions from Liverpool fans, of course,” Romano said.

“It’s important to understand that is not an easy moment for Liverpool, we can see that on the pitch. It is not an easy moment for the club, for the manager.

“But is important to clarify that Liverpool are 100% together with Jurgen Klopp.

“So, if you see rumours or stories around at the moment, what I’m getting is that Liverpool are protecting the manager, they are backing the manager.

“They are planning for the future and present, of course, with Jurgen Klopp.

“So, at the moment, I have nothing else to say. Jurgen Klopp is the manager. They want Jurgen Klopp as the manager, who is going to take care of Liverpool for the present and the future.”

Liverpool will back Klopp

With everything he has done for the club, it would be absolutely treacherous if Fenway Sports Group and co decided to part ways with Klopp.

The manager has achieved miraculous milestones at Anfield – especially considering the state of the side when he arrived in 2015.

This has been done without the budget of other top Premier League sides, which makes the recruitment of various world-class stars to Liverpool even more impressive.

Klopp certainly hasn’t enjoyed his best season on Merseyside this term. He has been responsible for a number of poor team selections and substitutions, which have ultimately lost the side games.

However, overall, the failure of the Reds comes down to a lack of investment in the squad.

If this wasn’t the case, Liverpool would have picked up where they left off last season.
