Jurgen Klopp was spotted apologising to the Liverpool fans after today’s 3-0 defeat to Brighton.
The Reds were humiliated on the South Coast as an already bad season got even worse. After somehow escaping without a goal conceded in the first-half, Liverpool simply didn’t learn their lessons.
A dreadful Joel Matip error allowed Solly March to score, before the same player added a second with ease.
Somewhat inevitably, Danny Welbeck added a third to give Liverpool their worst defeat of the campaign. And in what is becoming an all too familiar sight, Klopp made his way to the away end with an apology at full-time.

Less sorry’s, more action please
It’s got to the point with Liverpool where the apology’s are all starting to ring a little hollow.
Of course, it’s better to hold your hands up at the end of such a pathetic display than to not, that’s clear. But those apologies have to be followed up with action.
If they’re not, then they simply don’t mean anything. Unfortunately for Liverpool this season, they just don’t seem to be identifying what they’re doing wrong.
So, if any fan were to get in a room with Klopp after this game, the question would have to be ‘what are you apologising for?’

Is it the complete lack of effort on the players part? Could it be the fact that we don’t look to have a plan to stop any opposition from cutting through us at will? Perhaps it’s the utter refusal to upgrade the midfield?
Whatever the answer is, whatever the problem is that you are saying sorry for – go and fix it!
Right now, there doesn’t seem to even be acknowledgment that we have deeply-rooted problems. After Klopp’s apology today, the manager said that he saw ‘no signs’ of a poor performance coming vs Brighton.
How about the last game against Wolves, Jurgen? Or the one before that against Brentford. Apologies were made after that game too, but nothing at all has been done to put things right. We don’t want sorry’s, we want action. It isn’t too late.
