Liverpool could now sign Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram for just £26.5m this month, according to FootballTransfers.
As per the report, the Ligue 1 club hope to keep hold of the 21-year-old until the summer, but it is said that an offer around the £26-27m mark would likely be enough to allow him to leave in January.

The Reds have already held talks with the player over a prospective move.
Thuram has also been linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Newcastle United, but nothing has come to fruition involving either side.
Liverpool could sign Thuram
With a blatant need for midfield additions in the current transfer window, Liverpool fans would likely take anyone at the moment.
However, it appears Thuram could be a fantastic option for both the present and the future – with FootballTransfers suggesting he could be Fabinho’s long-term replacement in defensive midfield.
Hailed by RMC Sport journalist Alex Jaquin for his ‘perfect profile’, the 6ft4inch youngster could be a great addition for Jurgen Klopp’s squad.

For Nice this season, Thuram has played in every single Ligue 1 and Europa Conference League fixture. Just last night, the midfielder scored and assisted as his side thrashed Montpellier 6-1.
Therefore, with Liverpool’s need for reliable players in the middle of the park, it appears the 21-year-old could potentially be Anfield bound this month.
