Liverpool have dealt with the agent of Sofyan Amrabat before and that should stand them in good stead, says one journalist. The Reds reportedly want to sign the player.
Liverpool have been linked with Sofyan Amrabat for a little while now. His performances at the World Cup saw his reputation skyrocket as he helped Morocco finish fourth.
Moroccan outlet Lions de L’Atlas are one of those claiming that Liverpool want Amrabat. He’d apparently cost around £39m to pry from Fiorentina in January, though.
But Liverpool may have an advantage of sorts. Or at least, they’ll know how to get talks underway and deal with Amrabat’s agents.
That’s because he’s represented by Stellar, who helped Liverpool sign Ibrahima Konaté. That relationship stands the Reds in good stead if they want to get Amrabat next month.

Journalist Dean Jones told GiveMeSport that such a relationship can only help Liverpool – and puts Amrabat in a ‘wonderful situation’.
“They’re one of the major agencies in the game and it won’t harm their chances of getting a deal like this done,” said Jones. “I think Amrabat himself is in a wonderful situation here.”
Sofyan Amrabat agent has worked with Liverpool
It’s difficult to tell how high Amrabat truly is on Liverpool’s shortlist. Everyone is aware that Jude Bellingham tops it but when it comes to alternatives – or additions – the Moroccan is in a unique spot.
Everyone else linked with the Reds is a young player with great potential. Enzo Fernández and Moisés Caicedo are possibly the best examples of that, along with Bellingham.
Amrabat, though, is a player in his prime. He’d be a signing for the right now, while also being notably more defensive than the others. But perhaps that makes a deal more likely.

We can’t see him being the primary target but he’d be ideal alongside any of the others. That, above all, is why we think Liverpool will get involved. The club will almost certainly want more than one midfielder, after all, and Amrabat would be a perfect complement to a bigger signing.
And if Liverpool already know how to deal with his agents, then it shouldn’t be a difficult one to make happen next month.
