AC Milan are currently debating whether to sign Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita on a free in the summer, according to CalcioMercato.
The reigning Serie A champions are said to be closely monitoring the 27-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
Current rumours suggest the Guinea international is expected to leave the club upon the expiry of his deal.

Keita joined the Reds in 2017 in a deal worth £52m, but injuries have plagued his career at Anfield.
As a result, there is a real possibility that the midfielder leaves Merseyside this summer, with the Italian giants now tempted to act.
Keita could leave for Milan
Despite glimpses of pure brilliance, it is really hard to judge Keita’s overall career at Liverpool due to his numerous injuries.
The talented midfielder has spent more time off the pitch than on it. Therefore, despite being at the club for over five years, he has amassed just 117 appearances in a Reds shirt.
Technically, Keita is brilliant. His dribbling with the ball is carefully calculated, and he often helps the attack drive into the final third. Playmaking wise, he is as equally strong, as he has an eye for a defence-splitting pass.

The issue with the 27-year-old is that he cannot get a run of games under his belt. He may play well for a few weeks, but he is then ruled out again for a similar period of time.
Although he has been hailed by Jurgen Klopp as ‘outstanding’, the major worry is the player’s fitness. Therefore, only if he can prove to the medical team he’s fit and healthy should he be offered a contract renewal at Anfield.
