Liverpool youngster Dominic Corness has claimed he tries to base his game off Thiago, having trained with the first-team out in Dubai.
Speaking in an interview with the club’s official website, the 19-year-old spoke of which players he looks up to in the senior squad, and who he references for guidance.
“I’m a midfielder, so all the midfielders here are exceptional,” he said.

“I really like Thiago, so I would try to base my game off him as much as I can.
“But it’s not just Thiago, it’s all the midfielders.
“Even then, all the players have got attributes that you want to take and try to put into your own game.”

Having arrived on Merseyside from Bayern Munich in a deal worth £25m, the Spanish playmaker has to be one of the most exciting players to grace the pitch at Anfield in recent years.
His defence-splitting passing and dazzling touch on the ball is a real treat to see. Without him on the pitch, Liverpool look far worse for it.

Corness and co will be using this training camp out in Dubai to learn as much as possible, in a bid to impress the first-team coaches and earn themselves a chance to feature for the seniors during the second half of the season.
