Real Madrid close in on a deal for Endrick from Palmeiras, according to Fabrizio Romano. Liverpool supposedly wanted the player.
Fabrizio Romano claims on Twitter that Real Madrid are very close to signing Endrick from Palmeiras. The 16-year-old has quickly become the hottest property in Brazil and Los Blancos believe they will win the race for his signature.
It comes after Romano claimed that Paris Saint-Germain had dropped out. They saw a £50m offer rejected, apparently – which gives an idea of how much Real are offering.
“Real Madrid are closing in on Endrick deal,” he wrote. “Negotiations are progressing to final stages on personal terms too.
“Talks are very advanced with Palmeiras on €60m fee plus taxes. Been told full package will be €72m.
“Real want to seal & sign the deal very soon.”
Real Madrid near deal for Endrick
Yahoo Sports claimed earlier this year that Liverpool wanted Endrick. Sky Sports soon followed with a similar claim – but then things got crazy.
Endrick shone at the 2022 Copinha – a major youth tournament in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He was the top scorer and best player as Palmeiras lifted the trophy but it’s more ridiculous than it sounds.
The Copinha is an Under 20s tournament and Endrick did all of that as a 15-year-old. He only made his senior debut a couple of months ago and, to the surprise of no one, is already scoring goals. Again, he turned 16 this summer.

That’s why Real Madrid are willing to put £62m down for a player with minimal experience. They believe they’ve found someone even more promising than Vinicius Jr, essentially. And maybe they have.
Liverpool may have had a chance of getting Endrick before his reputation exploded. Once he caught the eye at the Copinha, though – and scoring bicycle kicks from outside the box will do that – everyone got involved. Including clubs willing to throw unbelievable amounts of money at a teenager who had barely played senior football.
Maybe Liverpool can grab the next one.
