Journalist Christian Falk has shared what Jurgen Klopp tells Jude Bellingham about a move to Liverpool. The message is working, too.
Christian Falk gave an interview to the Anfield Wrap on Tuesday where he detailed Liverpool’s plan to sign Jude Bellingham. Thankfully, it’s all very positive.
Falk believes Bellingham would currently choose Liverpool over anyone else, including Real Madrid. It’s on the back of Jurgen Klopp’s message to the player – a message that is apparently hitting home.
“Bellingham is watching and sees a big chance to be a leader at Liverpool,” said Falk. “Real Madrid is very, very interested but they have players there who aren’t so young also, but you have a few younger players like [Eduardo] Camavinga.
“He sees a big opportunity and advantage to play for Liverpool and be important. This is what Jurgen Klopp is saying to him.”
Falk then went on to say that “if Bellingham can decide it, it’s Liverpool.”
What Jurgen Klopp tells Jude Bellingham
Well, Klopp is undoubtedly correct. Real Madrid may have an ageing midfield but their future is clear – Aurélien Tchouaméni, Camavinga and Federico Valverde. Bellingham would still be a star there, and Valverde may play wide, but he’d be a piece of a world-class midfield.
Liverpool, though, want him to be the star. Bellingham would have the team built around him as the key piece in the middle, with everyone else adapting to him. We imagine he’d immediately be a long-term option for the armband.
Liverpool, after all, need Jordan Henderson’s long-term replacement and there is no better player for that than Bellingham. He is essentially perfect for what the Reds need right now – he’d just cost a fortune.
But if the 19-year-old truly wants to join Liverpool, the club must do all they can to find the funds. This is an opportunity they can’t afford to miss.
