Top Liverpool shirt sales: The Reds have a new big three in released list

Liverpool released their top 10 for shirt sales this week. The Reds have a new big three up top as fans flock to certain names.

Liverpool released a list of the top 10 players to have sold the most shirts this season. It’s a list they usually release and this year’s shows just how much things have changed.

The Reds, after all, have had a defined big-three up top over the last five years. Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mané and Roberto Firmino have been the ‘stars’ of the team – the famed front three that delivered so much success.

Mané’s exit means that’s no more, however, with Firmino potentially following him out the door in 2023. Liverpool’s released list shows there’s already a new big-three, however.

Salah still comes in first, of course. There’s no surprise there and he’s undoubtedly the biggest star in the side. But two 2022 signings follow him.

Luis Díaz is the first as he heads straight into second. Darwin Nunez then falls behind him in third. The South American pair have taken the club by storm ever since arriving, injecting energy, pace and all-action performances.

Now it seems that fans are clearly behind them as the new front-three. They each have the potential to be stars in the mould of Mané and Firmino. Jurgen Klopp just faces a job getting the trio to fit together.

Harvey Elliott then shows his growing reputation by boasting the eighth most-popular shirt at Liverpool. He’s just ahead of the captain Jordan Henderson.
