Report: Real Madrid suspected to have a deal for ‘phenomenon’ Liverpool want to sign

Real Madrid may have a deal in place for Endrick, according to reports. Liverpool have been linked with the teenage phenomenon.

This comes from 90min. They claim that sources tell them Real Madrid have a deal for Endrick ‘all but in place’. The European champions believe they can sign him from Palmeiras in 2024 and want it sorted quickly.

Other suitors remain and still feel they have a chance of getting the player. Real, however, remain strong favourites and may already have this one wrapped up.

Endrick exploded onto the scene as a 15-year-old with Palmeiras’s youth team. He won the Best Player award at the 2022 Copinha, scoring goals like this along the way:

Gabriel Jesus, who was the last major talent out of Palmeiras, recently talked up Endrick. He said, per FootballLondon, that the teenager will be a star, labelling him a ‘phenomenon’.

Understandably, clubs around Europe have taken note. Sky Sports believe Liverpool want him, though every source seems to mention someone new. There’s little question that every major clubs at least has eyes on the player – just in case.

Real Madrid may have Endrick deal

It’s worth mentioning that Brazilian outlet Globo recently reported that there is no deal with Palmeiras. They were talking about Paris Saint-Germain but the same applies to Real Madrid.

Endrick has a release clause of over £50m, too, and UOL say it would cost at least £30m to get him.

Now, these aren’t numbers we can see Liverpool paying for a 16-year-old. A massive factor here, too, is that Endrick can’t leave Brazil until he’s 18 and no transfer can happen before 2024.

Essentially, you’re taking a gamble in signing him now. You hope that picking him up before he’s truly proven himself can secure a bargain. Otherwise, his value could easily double by 2024.

Real like this strategy and did it with both Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo Goes. No one would exactly be shocked if they did it a third time with Endrick.

As for Liverpool, we’re just not sure this is the race for them.
