Liverpool transfer target Jude Bellingham has told Real Madrid that he’ll make a decision on his future after the World Cup.
That’s according to 90min, who claim that Madrid are now ‘putting plans in place’ to sign the 19-year-old.
However, Bellingham has reportedly told them that he hasn’t yet firmed up his idea for next season. That’s despite strong reported interest from Liverpool as well as both Manchester clubs and Chelsea.
Although those three clubs are said to be ‘very keen’ on Bellingham, it’s claimed that he could still remain abroad. Having played the last two seasons in Germany, the England star could reportedly pick between PSG and Juventus, as well as Madrid.
For their part, Real are said to ‘understand’ Bellingham’s current stance. Regardless, they’re reportedly making sure that the teenager is ‘fully aware’ of their position.

Madrid make their position clear
Whenever Real Madrid enter a transfer race, it’s fair for the other clubs involved to get a little twitchy.
Their president, Florentino Perez, is very much a man used to getting what he wants. When he puts his mind to a transfer target, they almost inevitably end up at the Santiago Bernabeu.
In Bellingham’s case, it feels a little different. It would perhaps be reductive to suggest that the Englishman would favour English teams, but it does feel that way.
Having moved to Borussia Dortmund at just seventeen, he is still yet to experience playing the Premier League.

At one time, this wouldn’t necessarily be a big deal. In years gone by, Spain’s La Liga or Italy’s Serie A might appeal more anyway. But now, the Premier League is very much top dog.
As one of the top English talents, it isn’t hard to believe that Bellingham would be desperate to strut his stuff on home soil.
Then again, he’s already shown that he isn’t afraid to try something different. The pull of Madrid is incredibly strong and would see him follow some icons of the game.
But with Liverpool already said to be leading the race, hopefully Jude realises the benefits of coming home. Should he not rock up at Anfield though, maybe it would be preferable for Bellingham to head for Spain instead.
