Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino was spotted looking sharp during a Brazil training session earlier this week.
As per a video seen on cbf.com, Firmino fired two well-taken finishes past Liverpool teammate Alisson Becker.
The first was swept nicely into the bottom left-hand corner of Alisson’s goal. Despite a full stretch from the Liverpool No.1, he couldn’t get near the 30-year-old’s strike.
Next, Firmino buried an effort off the bar, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way in the process. Looking good, Bobby!

Firmino gets final chance before World Cup decision
It was a welcome sight to see Firmino earning himself a call-up back into the Brazil fold. Liverpool’s No.9 had been sweating on a World Cup place having not played for his country since July 2021.
But manager Tite had always insisted that the door remained open for Bobby. Since his debut in 2014, the Liverpool man has been a fixture in the coach’s squads.
Now with fifty-five caps, Firmino is one of the more experienced members of Tite’s current squad.
As you’d expect with the Brazil attack, there’s plenty of competition to fight off. Players such as Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli didn’t make the squad this time, as the players get a last chance to stake their claim for a World Cup berth.

On current club form, it’s easy to see why Firmino has been given another opportunity. After eight games, he has three goals and three assists for Liverpool.
At times, he has looked back to his best after an injury hit campaign in 2021/22. As Ian Wright said last season, when he plays like that, Firmino is ‘elite.’
If he can take some of that form into this international break, then he’ll give Tite a decision to make in November.
As for Alisson, he’ll be looking to cement himself as the No.1. After some ‘keeper rotations during last summer’s Copa America, Ali will hope to be the main man in Qatar. Fabinho could also be seen during the session and looks certain to make the final cut.
