Divock Origi looks set to start his first game since leaving Liverpool for AC Milan this summer.
As per Milan boss Stefano Pioli via Tuttosport, the former Liverpool striker is now fully fit and ready to start.
“I think his [Origi’s] time has come. He is better, he has had continuity in training, he needs to play and he is a very good player,” said Pioli.
Origi has played 80 minutes across four games for his new side so far, all of them from the bench. Milan travel to Sampdoria on Saturday evening.

Origi yet to get going in Italy
It was difficult for many Liverpool fans to see Origi leave the club this summer. Over seven years at Anfield the Belgian had become something approaching a legend.
Scorer of some huge goals for The Reds, he departed with the well-wishes of everyone involved with the club.
He managed to get himself an excellent move by joining Italian Champions AC Milan. But his struggles so far in Italy indicate that it was the right time for he and Liverpool to part ways.
When looking back on Origi’s time at Liverpool, it’s easy to remember the good times. The double against Barcelona, the strike in the Champions League final, the endless goals against Everton.

As legendary as those moments were though, the 27-year-old could also be a hugely frustrating figure at times.
His chilled-out approach to life is part of what makes Origi so appealing. But when he’s displaying that for your team on the pitch, it can make you want to tear your hair out.
Overall though, Liverpool will perhaps miss him more than they first thought. It’ll be hard to replicate the role he played over so many years at the club with such success.
It’s a shame to see Origi failing to so far kick-on for Milan. Still, it’s very early days still. Hopefully he can mark what looks like being a first start tomorrow with a first goal at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris. With no game for Liverpool, we’ll be cheering him on.
