Villarreal are waiting on an offer for Yeremy Pino from either Liverpool or Arsenal, according to reports in Spain. The 19-year-old is a big talent.

This comes from AS. They claim that Villarreal believe an offer of up to £42m is on its way for their 19-year-old forward, Yeremy Pino.

The offer will apparently come from either Liverpool or Arsenal – the two teams leading the chase for Yeremy. It’s also said that the offer would be accepted.

Villarreal aren’t a club that forces players to stay, after all. The article points out accepted offers for stars Santi Cazorla and Pau Torres in the past. The latter did ultimately reject the chance to leave, however.

Now Yeremy could face the same decision. Liverpool and Arsenal know the price tag – it’s just a matter of taking the chance.

Yeremy Pino offer expected

El Desmarque in Spain claimed earlier in the year that Liverpool wanted Yeremy. That wouldn’t exactly be a shock, either, as the teenager is an incredibly exciting prospect.

Manager Unai Emery called him ‘complete’ as a forward after a performance earlier this year. Whoever signs him could end up with a long-term option on the wing.

We just don’t think it will be Liverpool. The Reds boast five top forwards as it is. We don’t see how Yeremy could move to Anfield and get the necessary minutes to develop into a player worth £42m. It’s as simple as that, really.

Not to mention the fact that Liverpool are very high on other young forwards like Harvey Elliott, Fabio Carvalho and Kaide Gordon. There’s no need to sign competition for them. Maybe if Liverpool were crying out for someone new up top but they plainly aren’t.

So we’re not going to expect much from this. Maybe in 2023 but if Yeremy is moving now, we don’t expect Liverpool to be involved.
