One Brazilian journalist believes Liverpool have been in touch about signing Palmeiras wonderkid Endrick. The teenager looks like a star.
This comes from journalist Jorge Nicola. He believes that Liverpool have ‘sounded out’ their chances of signing Endrick from Palmeiras.
“Liverpool have sounded out the possibility of making a proposal in the future,” he said, translated by Sport Witness. “But didn’t go further, for now, than a question.”
Nicola also believes that Real Madrid, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United are after the 15-year-old forward. Endrick will sign a contract next month when he turns 16 that puts his release clause at £35m.
Liverpool look into signing Endrick
This is the first time in a while that we’ve seen links to Endrick. Sky Sports said back in January that there’s interest from Liverpool, though.
And really, that shouldn’t surprise anyone. Endrick has been a revelation since bursting onto the scene in Brazil and won Best Player at the 2022 Copinha. That’s the biggest youth tournament in the country and one that’s taken very seriously. Endrick’s performances really do present him as a major talent.
Especially when he’s scoring goals like this:
The Copinha isn’t an Under 16s tournament, either, but Under 20s. Endrick is doing things like that against far more senior players than him and that’s why Palmeiras believe they can secure £35m.

After all, the likes of Vincius Jr and Rodrygo Goes have moved over to Europe for massive fees as teenagers and quickly repaid them. Liverpool appear to believe that Endrick can do the same.
That perhaps shouldn’t be a shock, though. Elano, a coach at Santos, openly says that Liverpool tried to sign Rodrygo before Real Madrid did. It seems that the Reds do have eyes on young Brazilian talent – they just haven’t had the luck thus far.
Maybe Endrick changes that.
