Report: Liverpool hope to strike four separate deals in the coming week, two bids in place

Liverpool plan to complete four transfers within the next week, according to reports. The Reds have two bids in place.

This comes from The Times. They claim that Liverpool expect a busy time next week as they look to seal four separate transfers.

Two of those stand head and shoulders above. There’s the club-record transfer for Darwin Nunez, of course, that should see Liverpool part with £85m. It’s a massive fee – but one we think they can justify.

That will come as Sadio Mané likely departs for Bayern Munich. The Bavarians have already seen two bids rejected for the Senegal star, with Liverpool describing one as ‘laughable’, per the Athletic.

The Reds remain hopeful, says The Times, that they’ll get the £40m they want for their no.10.

Then there’s Takumi Minamino. Liverpool think he could leave next week in a £17m transfer as clubs look to capture him. Foot Mercato say AS Monaco are hoping to be the one who gets him and want to move quickly.

And lastly, there’s Calvin Ramsay. Liverpool have put in a bid to Aberdeen for their right-back of around £4m with a further £2m in add-ons. The Scots want more in add-ons, however, and are yet to give a definitive answer.

Liverpool set for transfers next week

From what we gather, Liverpool might not even wait until next week for Nunez. Fabrizio Romano claims that one is all but done – but it’s possible that everyone will wait until after the weekend to truly seal things.

But this would certainly be a busy week. Liverpool could reshape their squad quite a bit with these deals, changing their attack significantly and adding a very talented young backup at right-back.

It all looks good to us, then. This is set to be one of the most interesting Anfield summers in recent memory.
