Three clubs will try to sign Sadio Mané from Liverpool this summer as he asks for huge wages, according to reports. The no.10’s future is in doubt.
This comes from Radio Catalunya. They claim that Sadio Mané is in high demand this summer and he’s met that with large demands for wages.
The Liverpool star will ask for £165,000 per week after tax to leave Anfield. That’s a staggering amount and we can only hope that he’s not asking the same from the Reds. Though, it’s very possible that he is.
Liverpool will push for a new contract this summer, of course, but might have to pay over £300,000 a week to get it done. That’s a lot of money over a long-term contract for someone who just turned 30. In fact, it might be enough to put the Reds off.
Three clubs aren’t put off, though. Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain would all like to sign Mané this summer if Liverpool entertain a transfer.
Sadio Mané asks clubs for massive wages
Mané is playing sensational football right now – possibly the very best of his career. This kind of form does justify wages on an elite level but we’re not sure Liverpool will see it that way.

The forward might still be a superstar at 33 and 34, though there’s little guarantee. Few players retain their pace at that age and Mané’s game thrives on it. If Liverpool aren’t feeling the risk, we don’t think they’ll offer a new contract on the wages Mané wants.
And that could well mean a sale. Liverpool boast an incredible number of forwards right now, with Mané, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah all out of contract in 2023. Selling one this summer makes some sense and Mané would likely be the easiest.
There are some big decisions needing to be made at the end of the season, certainly.
