Ian Wright was sat in the Anfield crowd to see Liverpool beat Everton in yesterday’s Merseyside Derby.
The pundit shared a video on TikTok of his day out in Liverpool.
Accompanying the two-and-a-half minute video was the caption; “24 hours in Liverpool. Just love football bro.”
During the video, Wright could be seen happily posing for photos with young fans. The former Arsenal striker was also happily belting out You’ll Never Walk Alone from his seat in the Main Stand.
“How can you not sing that?” Wright asked the viewers.
The 58-year-old then attended an Arsenal Women’s game before retiring to his hotel room.
We’re not sure fans of his former club will be too pleased to see him so heartily singing a rival club’s anthem, but we think it’s great! Never change, Wrighty.
Wright shows his class
Wright has been a very vocal supporter of Liverpool’s bid to win an unprecedented quadruple this season.
Speaking on The Kelly & Wrighty Show broadcast on Optus Sport last week, he said that he was ‘absolutely desperate’ for The Reds to pull it off.
The pundit is never one to shy away from speaking his mind, and it’s always refreshing to hear him speak.
Whether it’s about Liverpool, other clubs, or even matters away from football, he always speaks with honesty and passion.
That he is so heavily invested in Jurgen Klopp’s team doing the impossible this season goes to show just how much of a football man he is.
If Liverpool could sweep every prize before them this season, it will be an achievement that only the most cold-hearted of football fans could fail to applaud.
