Gary Neville sees something ‘incredibly dangerous’ at Liverpool right now. It has him very, very worried as the Reds chase trophies.
Liverpool are absolutely flying right now. They’re chasing four trophies, after all, having already put one in the bag with the EFL Cup.
But the big three remain. Liverpool wan the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup – and no one would put it past them to claim the lot. Gary Neville certainly wouldn’t and the Reds have him worried right now.
“It’s that energy, that spirit, that togetherness and actually, it’s accepting that you’re all going to play a part,” he told Sky Sports. “I think that’s what Liverpool have got at this moment in time that’s incredibly dangerous.
“Unbelievable spirit, the manager’s unbelievable, the fans are with the manager, the manager is with the players.
“So you’re all together, you’ve got unbelievable togetherness, they’re all contributing.”
Neville went on to say that he’s concerned that Liverpool might actually win everything this season, such is their relentless form. They’ve got the necessary ingredients and spirit, after all.
Liverpool worry Gary Neville
It’s exactly the kind of spirit and unity that pushed Liverpool to the Champions League and Premier League titles in back to back years. It understandably disappeared last season with all the injuries but it’s back with a force this time around.

And Liverpool know how important it is. They consciously signed no first-team players between their two major trophies, keeping the group virtually identical.
Now they’ve found unity once again but with an extra ingredient – squad depth. The Reds can now rotate properly, with everyone contributing as Neville says. Liverpool can call on both to compete across every competition and maintain this unbelievable momentum.
And that’s certainly very dangerous to every other team hoping for glory this season.
