Mohamed Salah has already returned to Liverpool training after his World Cup heartbreak with Egypt.
That’s according to The Times, who report that Salah was ‘back amongst friends’ at the AXA Training Centre by Wednesday lunchtime.
After losing out to Sadio Mane’s Senegal on penalties, Salah will not be at the World Cup in November.
And the 29-year-old was reportedly ‘craving a sense of normality’ after the game on Tuesday evening. According to the report, Mo didn’t hang around after the disappointing defeat and instead flew by private jet straight back to Liverpool.

Liverpool return to Premier League action to face Watford on Saturday lunchtime. As long as Salah trains normally, he looks like being ready to be involved at Anfield.
Mixed feelings amongst the squad
Finally the last international break of the season is over. It has felt like an age since Liverpool last played – the FA Cup quarter-final win over Nottingham Forest.
The break was a very mixed bag for Liverpool players. Jurgen Klopp will need to pick a few chins off the floor before Saturday’s big game.
Salah most notably will need an arm around the shoulder after his World Cup dream finished before it began.

Similarly, Luis Diaz’s Colombia missed out and won’t be in Qatar. They did their job with two wins this time around, Diaz scoring a lovely goal against Bolivia.
However, the damage had mostly already been done ahead of this round of fixtures. Diaz would have more than likely already accepted that he wouldn’t be playing in the tournament.
On the flip-side, Mane will return in high spirits after his country secured their place. Diogo Jota will also be full of confidence after avoiding the ignominy of missing out with Portugal.
The 25-year-old got a goal and an assist over the two important games for Portugal. He has likely enhanced his growing reputation even further.
Takumi Minamino will be another player riding high after Japan confirmed their place in the tournament last week.
