Jurgen Klopp has shared that Trent Alexander-Arnold will miss Liverpool’s game against Nottingham Forest this weeked.
Speaking during his pre-match press conference on Liverpool’s YouTube channel, the boss said that Trent has picked up a hamstring injury.
“Trent is out out with a hamstring injury which will also keep him out of England duty,” said Klopp. “We need to see how long.”
When pushed further on the matter, Klopp suggested that the right-back could be out for ‘weeks’.

Any injuries at this stage of the campaign have the potential to be season-ending. There are few players that Liverpool would want to lose less than Alexander-Arnold.
The right-back was once again excellent as Liverpool overcame Arsenal at the Emirates on Wednesday night.
Although he had a tricky assignment up against the lively Gabriel Martinelli, Klopp was delighted with the way he stood up to the task.
However, the game appears to have been a step too far for the 23-year-old.
It’s unlikely that Alexander-Arnold would have started against Nottingham Forest even if he was fit. Liverpool need him for the Premier League and Champions League games on the horizon.
But if he is to miss games beyond that, it could be a massive blow to The Reds as they attempt to overhaul Manchester City in the Premier League.
Having allowed Neco Williams to head to Fulham on loan, Liverpool are short of a natural replacement for Alexander-Arnold at right-back.
James Milner filled in for the last round of the FA Cup against Norwich City and Conor Bradley has featured in the competition this season too.
But with respect to both players, they’re nowhere close to the level of Liverpool’s number 66. Liverpool fans will have everything crossed that it isn’t serious and he’s back for the next Premier League game against Watford on April 2nd.
