Liverpool defeated Chelsea on penalties to win the Carabao Cup yesterday and Liverpool fans think they know what Mohamed Salah said to Jorginho during the shootout.
The Egyptian tucked home Liverpool’s fifth penalty and passed the Chelsea midfielder who had to score for the Blues.
Jorginho is a renowned penalty taker but utilises an unorthodox approach, jumping at the end of his run-up prior to taking the kick.
It seems Salah is not only a great footballer but he’s also not shy when it comes to throwing a bit of gamesmanship into the mix on the big stage.

Jorginho has a history of missing in a Wembley shootout. He had the chance to win Euro 2020 for Italy in the summer but Jordan Pickford saved his spot-kick.
Interestingly, had Caoimhin Kelleher gone the same way as the Chelsea man did on that night, he would have saved Jorginho’s kick yesterday.
The midfielder opted to go to the keeper’s right once again but this time he did manage to find the net.
Liverpool won the shootout 11-10 with both teams taking some superb penalties during the showpiece final.
With every outfield player scoring their penalties it came down to the goalkeepers to try their luck. Kelleher despatched his with ease, whilst Kepa Arrizabalaga blasted his into orbit.
What did Liverpool star Salah say to Jorginho?
It seems that the Liverpool hero tried to advise Jorginho against his normal penalty-taking routine.
From the footage Liverpool fans think Salah can be spotted mouthing the words, ‘don’t jump’ to the Chelsea star in an attempt to know him out of his stride.
Salah wasn’t able to get in the head of Jorginho on this occasion. He was calm and collected to send the shootout into sudden death.
It was the 29-year-old who emerged victorious though and he adds another medal to his impressive Liverpool haul.
